The Truth Game (2000)

The Truth Game was a collaborative, interactive performance and installation focusing on the destructive power of our blind spots, unacknowledged prejudices, and unexamined belief that good will is sufficient to bring about social justice. The installation was designed as a room-sized game board, with 13 game stops allowing participants to interact with artwork. At intervals during the installation’s open hours, Lynne and Suzanne performed a 10-minute collaborative poem of stories connected to the installation’s theme. The work was first performed in January 2000 in Arlington, Virginia and was fully installed and performed several additional times during 2000.
