Listen to “Constellations,” 2025 Performance Poem from Not Even Past

When our exhibition Not Even Past opened at the College of the Albemarle-Dare in 2025, we created and performed an 11-minute original spoken-word poem, “Constellations,”  reflecting on the deep human desire for patterns and certainties and on the meaning of history in the complicated and diverse contemporary world.

We’ve since performed the poem at several events, including at the launch reception for Estuaries 2025-2026, A Visual Arts and Literary Journal, and at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Outer Banks.
